This contract opportunity offers you the chance to make a meaningful difference on a one-to-one basis, working across multiple settings within a supportive educational community.

The position begins as soon as possible, continuing through May 27th, 2027.

In this role, you'll split your time between the Alliance Academy and various locations within the district, providing vital communication support to students who are deaf or hard of hearing.

The position is full-time on-site, with flexibility required as a part-time floating SLI within the district as needed.

• Active GA DOE Sign Language Interpreter License (must be presented prior to start)
• Proven experience as a Sign Language Interpreter within educational settings
• Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL)
• Ability to adapt swiftly between different classroom environments
• Outstanding communication skills and professionalism
• Commitment to confidentiality and student success

• Deliver one-on-one interpreting services for assigned students
• Clearly relay spoken language into ASL (and vice versa) to facilitate classroom access
• Collaborate with teachers, special education teams, and other staff to support educational goals
• Assist students in academic, social, and extracurricular settings as required
• Participate in meetings and team discussions regarding student progress
