Controller, CPA – Alpharetta, GA ($150M+ Growth Company)

A rapidly growing, $150M+ organization is seeking a hands-on Controller to lead accounting operations, stabilize the close process, and prepare the company for its first full audit.

This is a roll-up-your-sleeves leadership role responsible for owning the accounting function end-to-end—ensuring accurate, timely financials while improving processes and supporting a high-growth environment.

Base Salary: Up to $160,000

• Own month-end close (target: 3-day close)
• Ensure accurate, timely financial statements (GAAP compliant)
• Lead audit preparation and coordination (first-year audit)
• Oversee general ledger, reconciliations, and balance sheet integrity
• Identify and eliminate manual processes and inefficiencies
• Strengthen internal controls and reporting accuracy
• Supervise, train, and develop the accounting team
• Partner with leadership to support operational and financial decisions
• Own and optimize Sage Intacct ERP

Must-Have:

CPA (required)

10+ years of progressive accounting experience

Proven Controller or strong Accounting Manager ready to step up

Experience with audit preparation

Strong month-end close and financial reporting expertise

Hands-on experience with Sage Intacct (required) Core Traits:
