Southern Shield Pest Control is growing our door-to-door sales operation throughout the Atlanta metro area, and we’re looking for two experienced Sales Managers to help build and lead our sales teams.

This is a 100% commission-based position with no guaranteed salary or hourly wage. It is designed for experienced salespeople who want their income tied directly to their performance and the performance of the team they build.

Our ideal candidate has previous pest control sales experience, with door-to-door pest control experience strongly preferred.

As a Sales Manager, you’ll be responsible for both producing sales yourself and helping build a successful sales team. Your responsibilities will include:

• Recruit and help build your own team of door-to-door sales representatives
• Personally canvas neighborhoods and generate new residential pest control customers
• Train, coach, and develop new and experienced sales reps
• Lead your team in the field during the prime selling season
• Help reps improve their pitches, objection handling, closing, and overall sales performance
• Set goals and maintain accountability within your team
• Participate in weekly sales training during the off-season
• Lead and participate in daily sales training during the prime season
• Help create a competitive, positive, and performance-driven team culture

Sales Managers are welcome to recruit, sell, and build their teams year-round.

Our primary door-to-door canvassing season runs from April through August, when managers and their teams will be expected to be highly active in the field.

The fall and winter months will focus heavily on recruiting, training, team development, preparation, and continued sales opportunities.

Required

• Previous sales experience
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Comfortable working a 100% commission-based position
• Willing and able to sell door-to-door
• Self-motivated and comfortable working in a performance-based environment
• Ability to recruit, train, motivate, and lead sales representatives
• Reliable transportation

• Previous pest control sales experience
• Previous door-to-door pest control experience
• Experience managing or training a door-to-door sales team
• Proven history of hitting sales goals or leading high-performing teams

No college degree is required. We care more about sales experience, leadership, work ethic, and results.

This is a 100% commission position. There is no base salary or guaranteed hourly compensation.
