Accounting Assistant responsibilities:
The Accounting Assistant will assist the Financial Manager with accurate financial records and administrative tasks. Staff Accountant prepares reports by compiling information and utilizing accurate accounting procedures in addition to preparing payroll for a multi-state construction business.
-Prepare customer invoices and job costing
-Research and resolve discrepancies on a timely basis
-Assist with month end closing
-Assist with multi-state payroll and tax filings
-Perform other duties as assigned
-Excellent attention to detail
-Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel and Word
