School Registered Nurse

We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented RN or LPN to work on-site within a school community located near Lithonia, GA. This contract position offers a consistent part-time schedule, providing vital nursing care and expertise to students and staff.

Responsibilities include:

• Providing direct, comprehensive nursing care and health assessments to students on-site
• Administering medications and treatments as required, following physician orders and school protocols
• Responding to health emergencies and managing chronic health conditions
• Collaborating with educators, counselors, and families to develop individualized health care plans
• Maintaining accurate and confidential health records in accordance with state and federal guidelines
• Participating in multidisciplinary teams to promote overall student wellness

Qualifications and desired experience:

• Active Georgia RN or LPN license required
• Pediatric experience strongly preferred
• Previous school nursing experience a plus
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail and a commitment to student safety and confidentiality
• Professional, reliable, and able to work independently during scheduled hours
