Commercial Real Estate Controller, CPA

We're hiring a Controller to lead accounting for a commercial real estate owner and its family of companies. You'll report directly to ownership and lead a team of about 8.

• Oversee property accounting for owned commercial properties, including cash management, reconciliations and adjusting entries
• Run parent company accounting and reporting, including consolidation of 30+ subsidiaries and partnership interests
• Manage construction loans from negotiation through closing, plus borrower/guarantor reporting and compliance
• Lead corporate budgeting, forecasting and capital expenditure planning
• Prepare required federal filings for foreign-owned real estate investments
• Work with outside CPA firms on audits and tax compliance; maintain bank and lender relationships
• Supervise IT and HR functions and oversee the company retirement plan
